My Mom's family came from this area of Germany (then called Prussia). They lived in Hinterpommern, Kreis Dramburg in several villages. This territory now belongs to Poland. It is the northern part along the Baltic Sea.	Welcome to my Family Tree. Genealogy is my hobby and passion. I am very proud of my family history and want to preserve it for generations to come. Although this site uses my last name as the URL, it will contain my family history on both my Dad and my Mom's sides. ============================ To better understand the future and where we are going, we need to understand our past and where we came from. ============================ One of my goals is to use these pages as a meeting point for all folks with the same last names as listed here. This is my favorite area in Germany to visit. My Dad's Mom's family also came from Pommern, near the villages where my Mom's family is from. Saxony is the state in the lower eastern part of Germany and borders The Czech Republic and Poland.
